Nerja is known as "El Balcón de Europa" and is a beautiful little town on the way between Malaga and Granada. We did a lunch break stop there before continuing to Granada.
First little aperitif in Granada. Whether was unfortunately quiet cloudy, no chance to see the Sierra Nevada unfortunately.
To get a ticket at the Alhambra is quiet a challenge if not booked enough time in advance. They open the counter at 8 and they sell 1000 tickets per day for the day, but no chance to get one if you stand at the queue later than 7 am. I absolutely wanted those ticket and it was worth it. The palaces of the Alhambra are one of the most impressive things I have seen... difficult to sketch inside due to the amount of people and stream...
