Rabat

A few wonderful days in Rabat with my family, it was only too short. 

I found sketching these mosaics (zellige) very challenging and relaxing at the same time. It made me want to sketch all types of zellige of Morocco, like a type of inventory. 

This is the whole spread as I spent also some time with a tailor and she had wonderful pieces of embroidery. 

When you are in Morocco, you cannot miss a mint tea! 

Oudayas - still my favorite place in Rabat 

This is Villa Mandarine, a very beautiful place with a marvelous garden.
